Trusts and Foundations

Charitable Trusts and Foundations provide essential funds to enable Go Kids Go to help and support children and young people from across the UK who are physically disabled and wheelchair users.

Donations can:

Help to fund the delivery of a wheelchair skills workshop in a location close to where the Trust is based. These workshops are hugely popular and teach children how to use their wheelchair independently.

Help Go Kids Go to purchase new wheelchairs. Our wheelchair skills workshops are fully inclusive and we always bring a stock of spare wheelchairs to each workshop and encourage parents/carers, siblings and friends to join in the workshop and spend the day in a wheelchair.

Examples of current funders include:

Children in Need

We are delighted to have received a three year grant from Children in Need to enable us to employ a new wheelchair skills trainer.

The Woolfson Foundation

“Funding from The Wolfson Foundation enabled us to purchase a new training van, essential to the successful delivery of our wheelchair skills workshops.”

The Clothworkers' Foundation

Funding from The Clothworkers’ Foundation enabled us to purchase a new training van, essential to the successful delivery of our wheelchair skills workshops.

The Westminster Foundation

A key supporter of Go Kids Go, The Westminster Foundation specifically provides funding to enable us to run our much needed wheelchair skills workshops in the Chester area.

The RS McDonald Charitable Trust
